Barrow Trip Thanks

The HUISA committee have received the following letter from Gerald and Allan, who were Martin Foyle's guests on the Team Coach to Barrow:

A few words to express our thanks to yourselves for giving us the opportunity to travel on the team coach to Barrow.

We were given VIP treatment by everyone concerned and we would like to thank everyone on the HUISA committee for making our day a special one.

What a credit these players are to their manager, club and ourselves. They are a smashing bunch of lads.

HUISA's fundraising paid for the coach to Barrow, and the committee nominated Gerald and Allan to take the two fan places on offer due to their long standing support for the club both home and away.

HUISA Travel News

HUISA are now taking bookings for the away travel to Ebbsfleet and Kidderminster.

Ebbsfleet (Dec 22nd) departs from Radfords at 8.30am at a cost of £23 (£25 non-members)

Kidderminster (Jan 1st) departs from Radfords at 12.30pm at a cost of £10 (£12 non-members)

Bookings can be made in Radfords before the Kidderminster or Newport home matches, or via the Club Office.

Chelmsford 50/50 Winner

The 50/50 winning ticket holder for the Chelmsford match was Dean Tisdale from Leominster, who collected £285.

Cheltenham 50/50 Winner

The 50/50 winning ticket holder for the Cheltenham match was Richard Griffiths from Monmouth, who collected £472.

Reminder - HUISA Membership

As a reminder, HUISA membership - for £10 - gives priority access to tickets for all ticket matches alongside Season Ticket holders.

Statement - Supporters Trust

Members of the HUISA Committee met with representatives of the group investigating the possibility of forming a Supporters Trust last night.

It was agreed that HUISA would investigate the matter further and a joint meeting with Supporters Direct will be arranged in the coming weeks.

HUISA To Rattle Buckets On Final Walk Mile

HUISA will join this Saturday's sponsored walk for the final mile down Aylestone Hill and to the ground.

Committee members Dave and Nicky White will be rattling the buckets to collect donations. All fans are invited to join the walk for the final mile, with the walk expected to reach the meeting point on the corner of Broadlands Lane around 1.30pm.

The HUISA coach to Ebbsfleet this Saturday departs from Edgar Street at 8.30am with a fare of £23 (members) or £25 (non-members).  Seats can be booked through The Club office on 08442 761939.

HUISA Sponsor Barrow Coach

HUISA have provided £1,000 to the club to pay for the cost of the Team Coach to Barrow on December 7th.

As HUISA will not be running travel to the Friday night televised fixture, Away Travel organisers Richard Burkin and Dave Weaver will nominate two fans to travel on the Team Coach for the fixture.

We hope fans not making the long journey can come to Edgar Street and watch the game in Addisons.

The HUISA coach to Cheltenham departs from Edgar Street at 5pm, with a pick-up on Ledbury by-pass at 5.20pm, with a fare of £12.  Seats can be booked through The Club office on 08442 761939.
